After recording, just unscrew the pen to expose the USB drive, insert it into a USB 2.0 port on your PC, and listen to, save, even email your recordings. Plays back in Windows Media Player or Quicktime. Every time you begin recording, it makes a new audio file. Very good, crisp audio recording quality. We've tested this, and in a normal speaking voice it will pick up conversations from a distance of about 15-20 feet (at that distance the recording is quiet, but audible).
